At Meg's Trim & Stay, we understand that as much as you'd love to, you can't always take your four-legged friend with you. That's why we offer overnight dog boarding at our Owensboro, KY facility. We want to give your furbaby the same care you would. So, when you make a reservation, we'll run through a few pre-screening questions to get to know you and your pet better. If your pet does better playing alone, we offer independent playtime sessions.

Creating memories, one tail wag at a time
You can rest assured knowing your pet is in good hands when you choose us for dog boarding services. You can feel free to bring your own blanket and toys to make your pup more comfortable. Our facility provides:
- Bedding
- Cots (per request)
- Dog bowls
- A fenced-in backyard
- An indoor play area
- Medication administration, if necessary
- Convenient weekday drop-off and pickup between 7:00 am and 5:30 pm and weekends between 7:00 am and 11:30 am.
We do require all of our boarding guests to be vaccinated - including Bordetella, DHLPP and Rabies and pass a Temperament Assessment prior to staying over. We follow all veterinary procedures and recommended vaccinations. We also take boarding appointments for cats or pocket pets, such as guinea pigs and rabbits. What you should bring to your pets boarding?
- Enough food for the entirety of the stay.
- Any treats or personal items you’d like your furry friend to have.
- Please leave an additional contact in case of emergencies and list your veterinarian.
- Leave feeding instructions and amounts.
- List any medical concerns, restrictions or unusual behavior your furry friend may have.
Keep in mind we are not able to wash any personal items. If items are soiled or destroyed, we will bag them for you.
We do have a refrigerator and freezer for any food items.
